Let us see are these changes helpful for the teams or not.
The Valve has removed one major problem from the DPC, the score and prize pool of Majors and Minors. Now the runner ups will also get a chance to get their score near to the winner. Moreover, the Majors winner will receive $300,000, and Minors winner will receive $72000.
The organizers can remove any roster player from a team. Note: The announcement must be made before the final Minor of the season.
If all the five signed players are not available at the LAN portion of an event, the organizers will face the penalty. A 40 percent reduction in the total points.
To save a lot of time and effort, Valve has decided to merge the qualifiers of Major and Minors in a single event. It sorts out all the traveling issues.
Now a player cannot work for another team that has already qualified for The International as well as then qualifies as another roster. This change will profoundly affect Clinton Loomis Aka Fear because either he has to retire or act as a coach.
Another sad news for the top teams is here. They still have to compete in online qualifiers no matter what rank they have. Many professional players are disappointed by this change because a team can still be kicked from TI-qualified rosters.
According to Valve, all the changes are made to enhance the experience of Dota Pro Circuit 19-2020. Furthermore, to make The International 2020, the most prominent esports tournament of the year again.
